Neddy, I didn't talk to him. I didn't want to bother him. It had been pouring rain outside and he was drenched. Poor guy didn't have an umbrella. It looked like he just wanted to get home.
WOOHOO for cute singing-dancing boys!
Lose the clothes, you say? Wrong show.
(from "columbinus," if anyone's wondering, also with the fabulous Anna Camp from "The Scene")
I don't know how I missed the thread before - he is my favorite 110 cast member. He made quite an impression.

He looks so young. So I googled to find out how old he was. He's 27 days older than Megan Hilty and is 26.
Wow, older than me! Damn him looking so young!

My favorite part of 110. At intermission, I turned to my friend and said "I like the dumb one!"
He's great, but I hated what they did with Jimmy in this revival. The new, slower orchestrations for "Little Red Hat" are horrendous, replacing showstopping innuendo with blatent oversexualness.
Just got back from the show, and sorry to beat this poor, dead horse, but Steggert definitely should have gotten a Tony Nom--- He has gotten better and better !!!
Funny moment tonight (possible minor spoiler) ---
When Cullum comes out to the ringing of the phone, he picked up the receiver, but the phone kept ringing.... Ya gotta love live theatre !!!
Bumping for cuteness and talent!
Columbinus was devastatingly well done. I think I posted about it after we saw it.
Loved him in 110. I didn't think he was that good a singer until "Little Red Hat". I can't believe he's 26! He looks 18.
I will have an order of Bobby Steggert with some Steve Kazee on the side, please.
And he's way too old for me, but isn't Chris Innvar pretty cute, too?
I just saw 110 for the second time on Wednesday night, and Bobby was so laugh out loud adorable. I love that guy. I was in the front row and it was great to be so close. He was a total doll at the stage door too. Steve Kazee was *very* friendly at the stage door as well. He looks so much better without that darn wig!
WOOHOO BOBBY!
Farewell, dear Bobby!
Please come back to the stage again soon and grace us once more with your adorable presence.

He'll be in Nero at The Public this fall, as I mentioned in some other thread.
All the best!

The Public just announced its 2007-08 season, and there's no mention of Nero or Steggert?
He said yesterday at the stage door that he's doing something at the Public. But he didn't name names.

neither he nor the play being.jeremiah mentioned are referenced in the Public's season announcement. i could be wrong, but it looks to me like they've announced their full season ... i wonder what's up?
i was kind of looking forward to this one!
All I know is what he said YESTERDAY at sometime around 5pm.
Could things have changed overnight? Possibly. But as of 5pm last night, from his own mouth "I'm doing something with the Public."
Someone mentioned on another thread that they thought it was a workshop. Is that stuff revealed in their announcements? Like, was In Darfur mentioned in the announcement of this past year's season? Because it definitely played at the Public. I SAW it.

i think the "someone" you mean is being.jeremiah, who mentioned "Nero" as already having been workshopped a number of places, and as being planned for the Public -- with Steggert -- this season.
i wasn't implying anything changed overnight -- that seems highly improbable. my best guesses:
(1) the Public did not announce its full season, even though the press release gave the opposite impression.
(2) steggert didnt say *which* Fall when he spoke (twice) at the stage door.
in any case, mebbe somebody else knows something beyond the info you and i keep repeating? :)
