What time did you get in the rush line? Where are your seats? I last rushed this show last Sat - me and a friend got three tickets, we ended up all the way one left in the front row! The seats were awesome, I kinda felt that I was sitting on the stage, we were so close. I think we were the first to get matinee tickets that day. But this Sat I'm rushing for the night show, and I'm a little bit more nervous.

I rushed last Saturday as well, but my friend and I wanted evening tickets. We got in line a few minutes before 8am, and there were 2 girls in front of us. Our seats were on all the way on the left side of the house, around row G or so.
By 10am there was a huge line stretching back towards the Booth doors. This seems to be a very popular rush on the weekends!

I rushed on Wed 12.14.11 at 12noon for the eve show. I got row R seat 6. It was the second last row but the seat was great. The folks around me got their tkts at tkts. I paid 31 they paid about 65. Methinks they will sell rush to anyone who asks for it as long as there are seats left. The rear orch far sides had plenty of seats. But again it was for a 2 show day and the eve Wed show.
I still love this show and regret I did not become an outlaw and bring in a tape recorder for the music. It does not seem to a show that will get a cd. If it does I will be one of the first to order it! I might just go back and tape the thing unless I find evidence that a recording will happen.

I am interested in rushing tomorrow and was wondering how the rush lines have been. If you could especially mention where your seats were located and what time you rushed, that would be the best.
In direct response to denali.fire, no, they will not sell rush to anyone who asks for it. I went to the box office last Tuesday 12/20 at about 6 or 6:30 and the box office salesperson said that they did not have any more rush tickets available. He had said that they had sold "about 70" rush seats "throughout the day." He offered me excellent orchestra seats for $66 (5th row center, which would have been "premium" type seat location), but I actually wanted to see the show from further back. I asked if I could purchase rear side orchestra or something less-than-exceptional for a cheaper price and he got really mad at me and angrily huffed and puffed that $66 was the cheapest. So, at some point in the day (or at some quantity) they were no longer able to sell rush.

Posted: 12/29/11 at 1:46amMy friend tried to rush today--he got there sometime after 9, and someone came out of the box office at about 9:45 and told the people in line that there wouldn't be any rush at all that day because both shows were sold out, but they could come back at 1pm for the cancellation line. I went there later in the afternoon to ask about the rest of the week, and the guy told me that they never know for sure until day of, but that they're very well sold and it's likely that they won't have any more rush at all.
