Does anyone know when/if Bonnie and Clyde will be available for licensing? I want my student run company to perform this at some point! I love the show so much!!

I would suspect it will be another 6 months to a year. That being said, I haven't heard that it has been picked up. I'd check MTI's website: they seem to be the forerunner for new shows. They often have on their website the shows that they will be able to release upcoming.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

MTI definitely will be the rights holder for B&C. It also licenses most of Wildhorn's other shows. The back of the CD lists MTI as licensing agent. With no tour that I know about in the works, I would imagine it would be sooner rather than later before it is released, but Wildhorn's Dracula took years to come out. Your best bet is going to be to inquire with MTI. If you shoot your state's licensing rep an email, they will be able to give you the most informed idea as you're likely to get. Www.mtishows.com

It will probably be a while since I would imagine the show will undergo some changes for the foreign productions and then that version of the show will be the version licensed by MTI. That's what happened with Dracula.

^Dracula was kind of a combination of productions. (Took about 2-3 years post Broadway notice to get a few productions up, including a "trial" one in NJ in '06)

As said, it will definitely be released by MTI - with potential plans for a West End production still in the works (among the other international productions), it may be a little before they release them.
