Box office. I am cheap. Hate to pay unnecessary charges...and I am close enough that it's not an inconvenience.
If it's a show in town, box office. I don't live in Hell's Kitchen anymore, but I work in Midtown, so I can get to most box offices very easily. Even when I lived in California, the Ticketmaster fees cost more than a BART ride to San Francisco to get tickets at the box office. So... BOX OFFICE!

If it is convenient for you, the box office is always the best. You don't have to pay the Ticketmaster/Telecharge outrageous fees and the box office staff is usually very knowledgeable about the layout of the theatre and will go out of their way to get you the best seats possible.
Box Office is always the way to go if you have that option.
