Has anyone met Bradley Cooper after The Elephant Man? I want to hear some people's experiences!
He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He signs for a lot of people and then he will take your phone and take a selfie. Really nice guy!

For those that know of this, does Bradley come out even when there is rain? I'm seeing the show Tuesday and they're calling for rain/snow, and I really want to meet Bradley afterward.
His car is parked outside the stage door, so he has to come out...
If someone takes your cell phone and takes a selfie with you, he ain't exactly Garbo. Lighten up, you'll live longer.

do people leave the show early to get to the door? i have no plans to do that as it is tacky, but was just wondering
My God, leave these poor people alone.

I never leave before the curtain call, and exiting the theatre very quickly I was able to get a spot, as were many others as the barricades are spread extremely far out and the actors go around the full circle. So essentially, I was probably 10th or 11th out the theatre and 3rd or 4th at the stage door. The amount of people that could get to a front spot at the barricade and have a definite chance of meeting them is up to about 50 people. It also depends on where you're sitting as I was center orchestra row k on the aisle (towards the left side) and the seats were really close to the exit. Hope this helps!
I saw the show in previews, and it was a bit warmer, so this information may not still be true, but the barricade was the longest barricade I have ever seen outside a show. It's a big circle basically, and he goes around the entire circle. The show has the advantage that it can use Shubert Alley rather than worry about keeping a side walk clear. I would say that it's about 100 people at the front of the barricade. It's a lot of people.
And Cooper took a selfie with every person who wanted one (which seemed like every person at the front of the barricade). It seemed like a lot more people wanted selfies than signatures. I wouldn't expect any real conversation with the man, but he definitely spends his time out there with the fans.

heard that Bradley Cooper may not be doing stage door for a while. anyone heard this too?
i met him back mid Nov. I was about the fourth person he came up to after exiting the stage door. Couldn't have been nicer. Came up and asked me how I was doing. I had a poster I bought. He signed it right under his picture. Saw I had my phone out and took a selfie. I had the same experience with Hugh Jackman. (minus the seflie). I noticed both of them tend to sign with just initials on playbills. But on the posters they were full signatures. I'm sure they cut a cut of each poster that was purchased....so if you are looking for more then an initial, it might be worth the $20 poster purchase. Maybe it's changed, but I very much noticed this back in Nov.

that's awesome! i guess when he signs so many playbills initialing makes things quicker so he can get to more people. Thanks for the tip!

dev101, I haven't heard anything at all about Bradley NOT coming out anymore. If you look at elephant man on Twitter, it seems that within the past week even people have been saying they have met him and took a selfie with him. One person on it said he didn't come out, but I suspect he went to a matinee. From where you are sitting, you'll be fine as the barricades are really far spread out. Have fun and don't worry, just enjoy the show first!
