There are programs. Full color and glossy.
Any seats for the performances have various prices. You will be watching the screens unless you are in the inner circle. The place is simply too large.
The stage door is around back as is a freaking mad house after these shows. I was the star dresser for Le Miz and my husband couldn't even get back.

How will we know when the dress rehearsals are?
I might get a ticket as well, but it will be nowhere near the stage, or in clear view of the stage :/

I really don't understand why they continue to insist on doing musicals at the Bowl. Booze, weed, riff raff and musical theater just don't mix. I agree with the poster who called the evening community theater for celebrities. As far as seating.. the place is beyond huge. If you are not in the Garden Boxes or the front of the Terrace Boxes you will be looking at a screen. Sections D and E are also close but they are way to the side so they are obstructive. And if you are going to go I would strongly encourage you to do one of the shuttle buses. Parking at the Bowl is stacked and quite a nightmare. Also.. they have not had lawn seating for a few years. And as far as the souvenir program; if you wait till the end of the evening, most people leave them behind and you can pick them up for free at their seats.

This year especially.
The entire point of doing musicals at the Bowl was to hear the big shows with the entire symphony orchestra, so the very fact that they chose a show with a 7 piece band is mind boggling.
I don’t want to know what the subscribers are thinking, when they have paid hundreds of dollars for their seats to see a small rock show with a hodge-podge of talent.
And, by looking at the map above, if you want to get to the stage door, after the show go to house left/stage right and walk down and around and you will find the stage door. The entire audience exits to their right, just go to your left and then down towards the stage area.

I guess you've never seen Hair.

Hell, that sounds like most of my career.

And I can't be the only person who wants to take Tracy Thoms' hand and gently say, "Sweetheart, let it go."

"I guess you've never seen Hair."
There is really not that kind of booze and riff raff at Hair.

First off: And I can't be the only person who wants to take Tracy Thoms' hand and gently say, "Sweetheart, let it go." << I'm with you on this. More than I can express. I feel like she needs to take a deep breath and just get on with her career!
Second: I can totally see Skylar Astin as Mark. I feel like that can be a good choice. However, Aaron as Roger... He performed that role practically when he was still in college and I feel like it's not the best decision. As amazing as the show is I'd rather see him just keep moving forward with his career. Say with Catch Me If You Can on Broadway?? He doesn't really strike me as a Roger. Definitely more Mark. But who knows? And I'd rather not see him with Vanessa Hudgens. N2N and High School Musical... In the same show... Kinda makes me want to barf... No clue what Hollywood Bowl is thinking. I'm intrigued though. Almost to the point where I wanna see the show just to see how it all comes together. It sure would be... interesting??

But I have to say I would love to be able to see this to see Telly Leung as Angel! I like him a lot. And that picture of Aaron Tveit as Roger is hilarious. I do not see him as a depressed rocker ex-junkie...not even a little bit.
