Since Mindy Cohn decided to pass on this part due to other commitments, I believe Jennifer Laura Thompson is an excellent choice for the role of Glinda. She has a beautiful voice and demonstrated great comedic timing as Hope in Urinetown. Best wishes, Jennifer!

Amy - why so harsh - Voice may have strong opinions about things (don't we all?) but he seems to be a good guy. I've heard him say very positive things about broadway performers in the past.

Because Anthony's shtick of blind adulation of talent-free pop star of the moment and dismissal of toiling Broadway actors who haven't reached the publicity status of talent-free pop star of the moment, is loathsome and tiring.

when all the who should replace galinda talk started way back when kristin hadnt even announced a departure date i said Jenifer Laura Tohmson. WHEHEE!! im reallly excited to see this casting, i think she'll be speldid and i hate the spell wicked seems to cast on people but cheno wears many wigs in that show, so glinda will be blonde still.

How could you not have heard of her, Anthony? Are you serious? She was nominated for a Tony for Urinetown and she was very, very good. Very funny. I still LOL when I recall her line reading of, "I know, I KNOW!" And I saw that on September 8, 2001.

Have the casting directors of WICKED even come close to letting us down, yet? No, so why should any of us be questioning their decision. As to the wigs comment, not only can they use wigs for someone like Jennifer that is a brunette, plus, all the stars wear wigs, even Idina and Kristin.
