Breakfast at Tiffany's v Prick up You Ears

Have a spare slot in my upcoming London theatre trip, and can't decide if I should fill it with Tiffany's, Prick, or neither. Is there any buzz on either, aside from Anna Friel and Matt Lucas being cast?

I'd choose Prick before Breakfast, particularly at the weekends. If the former is particularly good, I'd expect to be brought breakfast in bed.

There's good and bad points about both productions. The guy playing Orton in Prick Up Your Ears is more of a reason to see this than Lucas stunt casting. I've seen him be terrifically good in other things.

I'm sceptical about film to stage transfers, particularly plays
(avoid Calendar Girls) but with Mathias directing, and if Friel sparkles, this could be exceptional.

Thanks for the advice. And you're welcome for the set-up!

Less of the cheek Taboo, otherwise we'll give you duff advice the next time you ask.

Although, since you saw Chicago with Duncan James, you probably don't need it. re: Breakfast at Tiffany's v Prick up You Ears
