I have heard from a reliable source that Brent Barrett and Hunter Foster will be starring in the regional premiere of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Cape Playhouse.
They will be joined by Dee Hoty and possibly a former female co-star of one of the two gentlemen.
Sounds like a trip to the Cape is in order!!
No details on the dates yet, but I'm sure it will be posted soon on the Cape Playhouse's website.
OH yeah
I love all three of them!
So that's why Brent's leaving Phantom!
Sorry, but I am new to the area, but where is Cape Playhouse.
(In Cape Cod) Dennis,Massachusetts.

That should be a great cast. But I seriously doubt that it will be Rachel York as Christine. Been there, done that on Broadway. Why reprise it in summer stock?
Maybe it will be Anastasia Barzee from Urinetown?
Yeah, I spoke a little too soon. Ms. York is not confirmed, but the other three are...
Wow.
That's a hell of a cast.
Surprised a regional theatre (even a really good one) could land such spectacular perforers.
I wish I lived farther north!
Wish I could see this!
If this is during the summer, that would be amazing. I'm staying in Dennis for 2 weeks.
Can we assume that Hunter will be Freddy and Brent will be Lawerence? And is Dee going to be Muriel?
God this is amazing.
it does not suprise me that they can get them. The Signature Theater here in Arlington can get people like Chita Rivera and the Sacramento Music Circus gets some HUGE talent too.
Well, Hunter and Rachel aren't doing it, but Brent Barrett and Dee Hoty are, along with others.

Aww, it would've been nice to see Hunter Foster in it. I used to go to the Cape every year, and it would've been nice to see him in it especially since I missed him the day I saw Producers.
Too bad. I was really hoping to see Hunter, but I'll still be thrilled if I can make it to the show.
Too bad about Foster, but Barrett and Hoty are still great casting.

Hunter Foster needs to be back on Broadway!
Well since his sister is leaving, he could take over for the fast departing Bart.
I've seen several shows at the Cape and the production values are usually piss poor.
I think the actors work there as a paid (low-paid) vacation because the town and beach there are beautiful.
I might have to go see it...I love this show so much.
