And John Tartaglia is Pinnochio - outrageous!
oh & Chester Gregory II is playing the donkey! he has a WONDERFUL voice!
I imagine they have beefed up the Pinnochio role, it's otherwise a pretty small role to be casting so early.
This is great casting!
I had a feeling Gregory might take Donkey.
I'm actually excited about this.
Such great performers don't flock like this to a bad show.
I have a very good feeling that this is going to be much better than people think it is.
Gregory II is getting out of CRY-BABY as soon as possible.
I think this show will surprise everyone. Great casting!
I'm so excited! GREAT casting choices!
Thats says a lot for "Cry Baby" doesn't it?!
GREAT casting!
Chester will be free of his CRY-BABY job in a few months, anyway.
It's good to know he has his next gig lined up following CRY-BABY's imminent slaughter and shutter.

I'm thrilled by the casting!
NOT thrilled that this is pretty much assurance Brian won't be coming back to Next to Normal if it gets a 2009 run But... I guess I just need to start accepting the idea of other people in the roles.
But seriously, other than that this is very cool The cast is amazing! I bet it's going to be a surprisingly great show
i cannot wait for this!..when do tix go on sale?

Wow, this really might be interesting.
I am so happy for Chester!!!!
Its sounding more and more intriguing!

I was just teasing snl89.
I agree with the comments here. While I'm very excited I'll be seeing Aaron Tveit and Brian D'arcy James on B'way for the 08-09 season, it won't be in N2N, and those two are by FAR my favorite actors in the cast, and the show won't be the same without them. Everyone else I wouldn't have minded a new person as much.
This casting is PERFECT so far. Seriously.
I hope the show is good.

SAVED is Off-Broadway.
I think he was referring to Catch Me if You Can, which at the moment, Tveit is only doing a workshop of.

I don't think I've ever been so happy to live in Seattle.

Well Aaron should still be free I believe at least for now, because Saved is running running through June 22. So if Catch Me If You Can doesn't get an actual production for around the same time, he shall be available :) (however, that's a big "if"- not sure how close Catch Me If You Can is to getting a production, but I fear it's pretty close by the sounds of it)
But yeah, if Shrek opens November 2008, even I know it would be silly for Brian to leave so early just to do Next to Normal *goes to listen to the amazingness that is the I Am The One (reprise) and mournes*
