Brilliant Possible Casting

Was talking to my boyfriend last night about how amazing Ellen Green would be if she were cast as Edie Beale in Grey Gardens, and started to think about other possible casting that seems perfect. I know there were rumors of Liza being The Drowsy Chaperone when it was in New York, but I wanted to know if anyone else had any ideas of perfect casting ideas for shows.

I'd love to see laura osnes as Glinda in wicked.
Also if they ever made a madame doubthfire musical i'd love to see megan mullaly as miranda, and brian darcy james as mrs doubthfire. And if they turned toy story into a broadway show id like to see norbut leo butz as buzz and adam pascal as woody

I think Laura Osnes would be a good Glinda provided she could hit those crazy high notes [i am unaware of her exact vocal range]

I've always thought that Matthew Morrison would make a good Fiyero.

I'd love to see Sierra Boggess as Nellie Forbush in South Pacific or Glinda in Wicked as well.

Constantine Marolusis [Rock of Ages and The Wedding Singer] would be an awesome Roger too.

Always thought that Eliso(sp) Roman would make a great Horton in Seussical.

re: Brilliant Possible Casting

Anactornamedseth2, Constantine DID play Roger (assuming you meant Roger in RENT) during the non-equity tour when Jaime Lee Kirchner was Mimi and Marcus Paul James was Collins.

I really want Raul Esparza and Daphne Rubin-Vega to play Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett.
