Are ALL the performers in Bring it On covered in the Equity contract (regarding the extraordinary risk clause?)
Also...anyone who has seen the show, how are the vocals? It seems like dancers who sing. Not singers who dance. Is that noticed during the performance?

Posted: 5/29/12 at 7:18pmYou can bet that part of the ensemble are not singing during dance breaks. Bring It On definitly includes a lot of unsingable choreography, and it counteracts that by having a large supporting cast, so instead of having an entire chorus number, its the supporting cast singing infront of the dancers, which makes sense in the realm of cheerleading. Think about the opening of the film with Kirsten Dunst's nightmare, her inner soliloquy during the routine, would now be they start the routine, and the she stops breaks into song with the routine still going on behind her. The soliloquy becomes the song.
