Nancy Walker and Cris Alexander from the original cast of ON THE TOWN perform "Come Up to My Place" and then the girls of the cast pile into Nancy Walker's taxicab and perform a follow-the-bouncing-ball rendition of "Chattanooga Choo Choo" so the boys overseas can sing-along.

That's the photographer and bohemian performance artist Cris Alexander in his early years. Collaborator and sometimes partner of novelist Patrick Dennis, creator of "Mame" and "Little Me."

Wow, that clip is stupendous! Probably one of the earliest decent quality clips of a Broadway show. I remember seeing a small portion of it on the SINGIN' IN THE RAIN DVD ages ago, but totally forgot about it until now.
