Just got something in the mail. I was surprised to see RENT and DRS on the list...didn't know RENT was coming back (I missed it when it was in Dallas a couple months ago) and DRS surprises me...I don't see it doing well. Here are the shows:
-ShowBoat
-RENT
-Legends
-All Shook Up
-A Few Good Men
-Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
I'm excited! I hope to catch ASU and RENT atleast. Haven't seen either one on tour. I'm afraid of going to see DRS after they make the changes.
Dude you live in DFW? Tight..so do I. The Bass is beautiful. I might as well try to see Rent since I've never seen it onstage. Just to see it. I'm pretty excited about Fair Park's season.

The Bass is very nice--gorgeous theater. The music hall is horrible and...very cheap looking. Their season does look very good though--I'm excited. Not sure if I want to see Camelot, but that's the only one. I'm hoping to get season tickets for Christmas!
Haha yeah it is pretty ugly. Last thing I saw there was DRS. I take it by your sig that you saw the Spelling Bee? I didn't have the money to =(
Parks,
Do you know the dates for Rent? So excited.
Thanks

RENT is here March 27-April 1. Not long at all.
Spelling Bee was over at the Majestic theater downtown--also a gorgeous theater. One of my favorites!
Are their shows independent productions or are they touring shows? When my friends were in GREASE there a few years ago it was the tour. And that space is HUGE.
Rent is certainly the tour.
I thought it was a touring house....I saw GREASE there three times...which is more than anyone should have to see it, friends or no.

I saw that production of Grease there too...it was good, I'm sure, I'm just so sick of Grease. I LOVE Bass Hall in Ft Worth, I've seen so many of my favorite bway shows there.
The Bass does its own shows as well as bringing in tours. Show Boat will be theirs.
I think the Bass is beautiful but too big.
lildogs: I saw that Grease too. The Doody inspired me to want to do the role someday, simply because of that song he sings.
