Broadway Boy Band
Broadway Boy Band#0
Posted: 3/4/06 at 5:17pmOk, after just listening to O-Town's We Fit Together for the first time in like 2 years, it got me thinking, if you could pick 5 Broadway guys and put them into a "boy band" thing, who would you pick?

Cheyenne Jackson
Hugh Jackman (lol too old)
Adam Pascal
Gavin Creel

Posted: 3/4/06 at 5:35pmI second that, ihearttheatre. (by the way, gorgeous icon) I'm trying to think and Matthew Morrison is the only addition to the original list (minus Adam) that comes to mind...
and the light
moving on.

I cant remember, I do remember that it was some guy from Hawaii that was too wrapped up in his girlfriend to go on, so they brought that dan guy back. As for putting a broadway boy band together, personally I dont think that there should be one. Broadway and boy bands are two very different genres which I dont believe should be mixed. But that is only my oppinion.

Thanks Clumsy. If I recall correctly, LMNT was formed by a group of guys who were rejected by Making the Band.
Wow, I'm showing how much of a teenybopper I was, aren't I.

Adam would probably eat you all for putting his name in the same sentence as "boy band."
re: Matt Morrison... he was in that movie Marci X, and he was part of a boy band in the film.

re: Broadway Boy Band#12
Posted: 3/4/06 at 7:17pmWow, you know Broadway is going down the tubes when you can imagine some of its performers being in a boy bad.

I am SURE there are some chorus boys out there that would be PERFECT for this!lol!
Btw, I thought that Matthew was part of a boy band that didnt take off so we went to do the "Rocky..." revival and THEN went on to "Hairspray".

Oy people. Matt has been in real boy bands, spoof boy bands, boy bands in movies and most recently in a boy band in a dunkin donuts commercial. if you want a broadway boy band, id say hes a safe bet. As for the chronological order, its really irrelevant to the topic but hes probably done one boy band type thing between each broadway type thing you can name.

Posted: 3/5/06 at 5:47pmIt actually was done several years ago...as a joke! Anyone else remember FreshStep? Jeremy Kushnier and some of his friends from Footloose appeared on Letterman a few times promoting this supposed new boyband whose performances and choreography amusingly resembled that of BSB. It was funny.
