Hey there where a few posts going on about what was on your Christmas list relating to Broadway. So did everyone get what they want? I didn't get all the Broadway things I wanted but I'm going to order my Hairspray the Root's and my Seth's Chatter Video tomorrow!
But I did get other Broadway things!
Jan 25th I'm seeing Millie
Feb 11th I'm seeing WICKED!!! with my Daddy :)
I also got Les Mis 10th anniversary Concert CD
The Rag Time OCR
The Broadway cares Towel!
and
A shirt that says "No One Is Alone" with a red ribbon next to it.
Also it was kid of cute last month when I went to the city I found a Bat Boy hat and I wanted it really bad but I had just spent the rest of my money on the Carols for a cause and so I couldn't get it and at the time there was only one left
. Well, My mom and dad spent a day in NYC trying to track it down for me. They didn't end up finding one but I thought it was awesome that they tried so hard to find it for me.
Sooo what did you guys get?

I was hoping for tickets to see A CHRISTMAS Carol before it closed. So that would mean a road trip to NYC. But hey! This is funny! I received Department 56 Village Collection thingy's! One of Rockefeller Plaza, and another of Radio City Music Hall and the Rockettes doing a kickline! So I'm happy!! I'll have RCMH and Rockefeller Center right in my home! hehe.

We did a secret Santa thing at work, and well, they all know about my Broadway obsession, though none of them share the obsession. Well the co-worker who got me actually did an internet search, came up with the BCEFA site, and ordered me the T-shirt with all the Broadway logos. Needless to say, I was just sooooo touched by her thoughtfulness to me, and that the money she spent on me actually went to a great cause rather than some retail outlet.

JO125- which t-shirt did you get?? The one with WICKED on it, or the older one? Either way, both are great.
Oh, LittleDancer729, how many playbills do you have if you need 4 binders? I'm just wondering...
Oh yes, i forgot to mention that I got this adorable RENT dogtag that has RENT on one side and "No Day But Today" on the other side.

I got the cast recording of "Avenue Q." I did ask for that, and was even more pleased with it than I thought I would be. ![]()
Also, I got a DVD of "The Best of Broadway from The Ed Sullivan Show." I didn't even know there was such a thing, so I was pleasently surprised. It was a very nice treat to watch...and I found out there's a second addition so I'll have to buy that. ![]()
The best part was Carol Channing singing "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" and going out into the audience and flinging diamonds into the crowd. ![]()
Also Julie Andrews and Richard Burton performing "What Do the Simple Fold Do?" from Camelot.
I didn't get the Judy Garland DVD's I asked for, but I still got a lot of nice things, so I'm very greatful. Besides, my birthday is in a month.
lol
Happy Holidays Everyone!

Posted: 12/26/03 at 12:36amBroadwayDiva- I have 42 playbills in them right now- taking up about 3 and 3/4 of the binders. My family is really into theatre, so whenever we travel to the city we end up seeing as many shows as we can. I always come home with between 6 and 10 playbills....

Posted: 12/27/03 at 3:48pmI saw plays three days in a row (oh glory). I saw the christmas spectacular on x-mas eve...then 42nd St x-mas day...then finally, Never Gonna Dance the day after x-mas. And my family gave a book of Thoroughly Modern Millie music, knowing my love for that play and piano.
