^^^^ Wow, someone needs to tone it down. Too much coffee this morning?

Those are not their clothes. They may again have been inspired by their personal wardrobes but for every t-shirt Jeff and Hunter wear on stage - there have to be duplicates for understudies and for cleaning purposes. Most of the time, even things that look off the shelf are actually designed and built because street clothes just can't endure the rigors of theatre and contractual cleaning etc.

In the case of a Broadway show where they are hoping for a long run, my guess would be they went out and bought things that matched or are similar. Going by the rates set forth in the LORT rulebook, which is what I'm most familiar with, it wouldn't make any sense to rent something like a pair of jeans ($4/week) or a t-shirt ($5/week) when you can go to GAP and buy a $15 t-shirt.

I'm almost certain that Cassidy Janson has her own costume's. Especially as she was part of the OLC and the original Elphaba understudy.

I bet Patti LuPone wears those Isotoners just so she can get an extra 15 bucks a week. I bet she's also got a deal with Isotoners and they pay her to wear them onstage.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I remember a story about how Mimi's coat in RENT is actually a nearly exact recreation of a coat that Daphne Rubin-Vega had. One time when she was leaving the theater in it someone from the wardrobe department stopped her and said something to her about leaving the theater with costumes. She explained that it was her actual coat and I think brought the person to her dressing room to show them.
