Broadway Critics - A Question

Hey, all!
Quick question: When is it likely that Broadway theatre critics attend performances? I know that it's not like decades ago when they'd "make the deadline" to be printed. Just curious as to when exactly a show would be "critic-ready" and considered "frozen" before opening.

They generally see the show in the last week of previews prior to the official opening. I think the last one to break this model was The Front Page last season when Scott Rudin forced critics to see it Opening Night for the first time.

In the last week of previews, there are normally a few nights that are "press nights"... often filled with critics and friends/family of the producers to pad the audience with people who will clap/laugh/react, etc.
