Is anyone planning to go on the Broadway Cruise? The talent looks great, compared to ones I've considered but not done in the past (Seth, Playbill, etc.). Has anyone done any of these before that can help make up my mind if it's worth it or not?
its worth it! I have been to 3 of them and I am planning on going to Alaska. The talent is great. They are very friendly. Their concerts are by and large wonderful. They always book wonderful ships. Its a great way to vacation and the other participants are all lovers if broadway so there is great camaraderie.

Just curious, what Cruise Line does these Broadway cruises? How much more expensive is it for this type of cruise than a standard cruise to the same location and on the same ship?
they always use very high end cruiselines. this time is Seaborne. Last year was Silverseas. I would say typically an 8 day cruise is about $6500 per person. This does not include excursions. It includes everything else - talent, food, wine. You can compare yourself. 😀
The Broadway Cruise (at that url) is on Norwegian--so it's probably not as expensive as the ones on Seaborne or Silverline. I was very tempted by the lineup (Laura Benanti, Alan Cumming, Joshua Henry, Jeremy Jordan, Sierra Boggess, Lena Hall, concert in port by Kristin Chenoweth, etc.) but just not sure if I wanted to chance a cruise with Covid seemingly surging again. Plus it's a little cold still. They only have inside cabins left for about $1300 ea. for 2 ppl. A little steeper than a normal cruise of that length (it's a short one, going to Bermuda for 4 days), but definitely not unreasonable.

I did a 7-day cruise to Alaska and it was roughly $2500 per person, before excursions, on Holland America, in 2018. $6500 seems really high, unless you're doing particularly nice rooms?
Regardless, if you know the cruise line just go to their site and look at the prices and compare.
I did not know there was a Broadway Cruise. We are booked for a Turner Classic Movies Cruise in November, 5 nights, San Diego down along the Mexican coast with two stops. It is on a chartered Disney ship. Only TCM passengers will be onboard. The Broadway Cruise appears to be cheaper than TCM. The cabin we have on Disney is approximately $2000 more expensive than a comparable cabiin on the next Broadway cruise.
We would definitely consider a Broadway Cruise if there is one next year.
The Broadway Cruise on Norwegian is the first time they're doing it so I don't think anyone can speak to the experience there (though they have a pretty active Facebook group if people have questions). The talent/onboard activities look promising and it's definitely the only Broadway themed cruise that feels within a slightly reasonable price range (I'm sure the others are worth it but they're not at a price point that's accessible, though I think I saw one of them included airfare in the cost as well). I originally had it booked pre-pandemic but couldn't make the new dates.
