After watching the Broadway Beat supersized special edition video, I noticed something. Michelle Federer looks uncannily like Julie Kent (principle dancer for ABT). For non-ballet followers, Julie Kent also co-starred in the film "Center Stage"
Compare Google images:

Which leads me to wonder if there are any other Broadway people out there who may have other B-list celebrity doppelgangers. Bizarre thread topic, I know. Humor me.

that's really weird...
I've always thought Michelle was pretty but I never noticed the resemblance! Ever since I first saw Center Stage I thought Julie was the prettiest woman EVER. heh. I think I just like people with big eyes and pointy faces. As that description also applies to my best friend.
My DVD player isn't working right now, what did Eva say Kathleen looked like? A gerbil? hahah.

I was just checking out the photos from 'If You Give A Mouse A Cookie' on this very site, and was struck by how facially similar Stephanie D'Abruzzo and Farah Alvin are in some of the shots.

I started this exact thread several months ago (i think it may have been the exact same title) and i mention Laura Benanti and Food Network chef Giada De Laurentiis bear an eerie resemblance.
First one is Laura second is Giada

It might just be me, but does anyone else think that Amy Spanger and Jennifer Morrison (Cameron on HOUSE) look remarkably alike?

Posted: 10/28/06 at 10:53pmI'm sorry, but that's kind of funny, for no other reason than simply that it's Omarosa.

Posted: 10/28/06 at 11:17pmit's funny because they do look quite similar! and it's so tempting to say yes it is Omarosa, but I've held back thus far.

That's funny.
I did a show with Michelle Federer about 3-4 years ago, and based mostly on that (and seeing Wicked once, when it first opened), I thought the 2nd picture was the one that was actually her, before reading the names. So I'd say your comparisson is a valid one.

Well, of course, TR Knight and Michael Arden. The pics aren't the ones I would have chosen, had I more time.

For me, when I saw Martin Short's : Fame Becomes Me, I kept saying that Donna Vivino looks a lot like Shoshana Bean.

I seem to remember ticking the mods off last time I posted this, but I think Color Purple composer Alle Willis...
...looks strikingly like actor Edward Herrmann.

The second half of the dopperlgangers are probably unknown to most of you but still:
Francesca Gagnon (first in costume), the original "Singer in White" from Cirque du Soleil: Alegria and Christine Ebersole.
When I was little, I assumed they were the same person when I'd watch my DVD of the show and Richie Rich.
Laur Fugere, Cirque du Soleil vocal coach and stand-in vocalist resemles Kristin Chenoweth, the cheekbones do it for me.
