Oh great! Another service where I can watch Joseph and the concert version of Les Mis.
How exciting.

Just in: https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/BROADWAY-ON-DEMAND-Streaming-Platform-to-Launch-In-May-20200416
Looks like they'll have some free programming along with the paid subscription, and also include concerts and livestreams as well.

What is their plan? Use their time machine to go back and film Broadway shows?
Will there even be a single Broadway show on their service day 1?

Posted: 4/16/20 at 8:18pmThere are some older shows not on BroadwayHD that I'd love to see. Into the Woods, Sunday in the Park with George, and Gypsy come to mind for Sondheim (though I think Into the Woods is on YouTube). I'd also be interested in seeing some of the old R&H movies or some of the TV live musicals too. I also wonder if other recent shows have done pro shoots that we're not aware of, though not sure how likely that is.

Aladdin was filmed in London last year but obviously that would go to Disney Plus rather than a new start-up service
