I worked at the silent and live auctions and had a fun time. CJR, I think I saw you walk by a couple of times. I thought I recognized you from your picture on this site. I think I also saw newyorkuniq once, it was someone who looked similar to your pictures on your fan photos part of the site.
anybody know when photos will be up?

WEll, I went to the flea market today, for a couple of hours and it was fun!!!! I have to say, although I got there a little before ten....there weren't as many tables and items as last year. In any case, I purchased:
A Chorus Line poster ($5)
(Had it framed for $20)
The cast jacket for "Bye Bye Birdie" ($60)
Sophie's sneakers from Mamma Mia!! ($20)
and a hair clip from the show...for someone else!

I just want to say, even though I was cold, I had a great time today! I was very sad becasue I would have really liked to have walked away with something from Cabaret-i.e a kimono, a pair of fishnets, a fruit bowl, a Raul... Just kidding on the last one! Well, maybe not so much. Anyways, there was some pretty cool stuff but nothing struck my fancy. There was of course the big picture of Sutton and Christian that I would have had to fought Cara for if we both could afford it, the ever sexy-yet-oh-so-cute Hugh Jackman Broadway Bear, (I wish I would have asked if the chest hair was really Hugh's) and the Taboo thingy that hung at the Plymouth( I wonder who ended up with that). I did however end up leaving with one of the Virtual Broadway pictures by Scott Fowler, a Broadway Flea Market poster, and a Broadway Bares 14 poster (ahhh, what a man). I have to say, my favorite merchandise was the bears. I'd seen pictures of them, but the photographs just don't do them justice. They are ADORABLE!!! I wanna be on Broadway just so I can have a bear made after me! Speaking of, why doesn't Raul have a bear-I can just see it now-Lemony Raul...the Teddy. Anyways, again-I had a blast with you guys!
LOL! Raul should have a bear. He also should've been up for sale... or at least in attendance. There also needed to have been a Cabaret table. Oh well...
Yes, definately upset there was no Cabaret table. Emcee, we can MAKE a bear!
AH! We so should.

And an Adam one too...just as long as it doesn't involve a spork.
Edit: ^big-ass
*hugs CJR* I too had SO MUCH FUN with you today.
We did rake in a total of about 13 pairs of tickets by the end of the night, that was so random.

Random -- who saw the Build-a-Bear they were pushing for a ridiculous price at the Wicked table? I could make my own for about $40 total (clothes and all)....

I know it was for a good cause but I thought there was an exceptional amount of junk this year. Anyway if anyone saw me I was the blonde wearing a black blazer and knee length flower skirt.
did anyone take pictures?! if you did, you better post them NOW!

I SOOOOOOO wanted to the trunk that Radames sits on (when Aida is giving him a sponge bath) at the AIDA table! The price was $1000 in the morning and by 1pm, they were down to $500 (still way beyond my budget!). But I SOOOO wanted that!
I did buy the WICKED poster signed by the current cast which I was thrilled about. : )
Saw Chris Sieber walking around though! Yum! : ) Also saw Joey McIntyre at the WICKED table - very nice of him to come help out.

i made an adam as roger bear once
sorry no spork
omg!! joey mcintyre was there!!! aaaaaaah!!!! my parents got bored after about an hour and then i made them wait for pics - i didn't know prices get cheaper, i think some other booths opened and other people showed up!!!

I can't believe the dime from 42nd. went for $500! the one I got from BC/EFA a few years back was less then 1/2 the price of that, and it's still signed by the whole cast like the one in the silent auction today.
