Prices definitely vary. If you see something early in the day & it's the only one, grab it if you really want it. Because there is a big chance it won't be there later. If there are a lot of some items, you may be able to wait. I got a cast autographed invitation from Cinderella for $5 at one later in the day. But, they had a pile of them. On the otherhand, I got some big items while passing through later in the day because whoever had them were just interested in getting rid of them. You also may be able to get small items for free or practically free that way too.
I'm usually out of town for this event, so I guess if I'm here I should go...
Will the Amazing Grace table just have a stack of free tickets to the matinee?!

Thank you so much Diva!
It wasn't listed on last years map, but I'm hoping to get some things from Lincoln Center shows. Would they be likely to have a booth? What about closed shows from several seasons ago? How do you find merch from shows that are no longer running and therefore don't have their own booths?
Lincoln Center Theater has had a table in the past, and has things from shows that closed earlier in the season/year (I bought a signed Women on the Verge windowcard at the Flea Market held the September after the show closed), and they MIGHT have leftover merchandise from several seasons, but there's obviously no guarantee.
As for shows that are no longer running, it depends. Sometimes tables from shows that are currently in the theater where the closed show was have some merchandise. There are usually several tables with just a mishmosh of things (often run by merchandise companies), and you can always find some nice surprise. Depending on what you're looking for, you should be prepared to spend a lot of time digging around tables.

Roundabout usually has a table, so their shows could be found there. Creative Goods (merch company) usually has a table. For example, last year I got a Big Fish tote from Creative Goods.

Thank you so much!!
Interestingly enough, Newsies is having a table again. They had one last year (after it just closed) and they were 2nd, IIRC, on amount of money earned. I wonder if they'll do that good again this year...
"Is it usually just the same merch, or might they have other things from the show, like special things they made for the cast to attend events, or whatever... "
Depends on the show. When "Frankie And Johnny In The Clair de Lune" was at the Belasco, Edie Falco and Stanley Tucci were at the celebrity table. The show also has a table where they sold the beer bottle props used in the show that Edie & Stanley signed. Sometimes if a show is closed they might sell the front of house artwork. You never know what you might find.

Does anyone know if there will be a map of the tables released beforehand?
Yes. It will be up on the Broadway Cares website to print out in advance. There will also be a huge blown up version in Shubert Alley for reference day of.

Wow, I had to go back three pages to respond to this thread. The Flea Market is this weekend, but it doesn't seem to have the eager anticipation among "Broadwayworlders" like in previous years. I went last year for the first time and almost made plans for this year. I decided against it and for me was the right decision. It may have been a weekend of disappointments for me. (The Hamilton matinee on Sunday would have had the understudy, Kelsey would not have returned to Netherland, a student rush for Fool For Love which I don't qualify and Old Times may have been something i wouldn't have enjoyed. Furthermore, I'm not that excited about the autograph booth this year.) However, I am still excited to read about everybody's day. Who they met and their great finds. So good luck for great weather and report back as soon as able. Have fun.
Just heard on Channel 1 they predict showers for Sunday.
No idea what the plan is if that happens. We need the rain but Monday would be a better day.

They may move it to the following Sunday then. (If you mean Monday is a better day for the Flea Market, it's not...because most of the people doing the buying are at work.)
They have had it when there are occasional showers. They held it indoors one year. (I doubt they have that option now.) Whatever happens, happens. I think the worst case scenario is that they have it 10/4 instead.

^ Considering the Roseland no longer exists, they definitely don't have that option.

We don't know if they may be looking at other places. Since it's such a big moneymaker, I don't think they'll cancel it entirely. Right now, it's still only Tuesday, and the forecast can also change. "Showers" is what comes up, which can mean occasional showers.
I meant Monday would be better for showers.
Postponing a week isn't ideal either. The thing is, they already had to get permission to close down 44th street for Sunday. Plus some of the people for the autograph tables may not be able to make it. I know there is always a chance at last minute changes. But, those are probably easier to deal with than changing an entire date. We'll just have to see what happens.
They responded to someone on Twitter stating it's a rain or shine event, so I guess regardless of the weather it will be happening on Sunday on 44th Street
Wasn't there a threat of rain a couple years ago too, and that was also what they said? I seem to remember it ended up drizzling in the morning or the night before, but not during.

^ Yep. I think it was 2 years ago. It drizzled but it was fine and they held it outside. There really isn't a comparable venue like Roseland anymore, so let's just all hope the rain holds back.
Weather forecast is back to a 10% chance of rain. Oddly, I only saw the rain forecast on weather.com and my weather kitty app. Weather.gov never was anything but sunny.

Has this years map been posted yet?

Not yet. You can look on the website next time you're curious.
Still waiting for that map for this year's flea. Need to plan and coordinate
How strategic does one have to be at the Flea Market, anyway? Are you following someone? In a windowless van?
