It was outrageously crowded last year, so I'm looking forward to there being more room, but Times Square obviously isn't a desert.

If it allows them to spread out more that will be wonderful. The only potential problem is that it exponentially adds people to the melee who will be there having no idea what's going on and will cause traffic and access problems for the hardcore theatre fans.

The problem with that is there is construction under Shubert Alley. That's the reason for the change
