School's out, lot's of tri-state business people are off that week, and the hotels all drop their rates (no conventions) so tourist come in for $99 per night rates at Times Square hotels to celebrate the New Year. Can't beat that.

excuse me for a little off topic. Which week will be the cold week for boxoffice, Jan3-9 or Jan10-16? I plan to have a trip to NYC to catch Chicago and 12 Angry Men in one day. As a poor student, I really need rush ticket. Which weekend do you think is colder, Jan 8 or Jan 15?
Thank you very much.

The upcoming weeks will tell how Brooklyn fares..
Admanrich, what do you mean Eden deserves better? She is the leading role in a brand new musical. Sounds pretty good to me!

I'm afraid not Benzy..
Well.. most Broadway shows do not-so-good on these months..
So it will not be that surprising if they'll do not as good as they did this past week.
Oh.. and about the wonderful Eden..
She is very lucky to star in a Broadway musical like Brooklyn
to show her amaizingly range of talent..
And the critics did like her.. I remember reading some great reviews about her and Ramona.
