Posted: 10/29/07 at 4:33pmWay to go, Cyrano! That is a hugely impressive number for a play.
re: Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 10/28/2007#6
Posted: 10/29/07 at 4:35pmI thought CYRANO would be selling out considering Kevin Kline and Jennifer Garner (and even Daniel Sunjata) are marquee names. It is doing great business though.

I was skeptical about whether Kline would be the box office draw he once was considering he's been out of the public eye for some time now.

I think its nice that Pygmalion went up 18%, and is doing well...
but why is the top ticket price $95? is that standard for roundabout?

Posted: 10/30/07 at 12:57amWell, given the fact that another production has already taken the Marquis theatre, neddyfrank has every right to be sure of himself on that one.

Posted: 10/30/07 at 6:49amDrowsy had a great run and if Cry Baby is taking the theatre, it's going to close. It's another case of Young Frank taking the Hilton from underneath the Pirate Queen's feet.

The Pirate Queen was sinking faster than a couple of cheap hookers on 8th Ave. If Young Frank had not come along, the show WAS still going to close.

Posted: 10/30/07 at 7:41amDidn't Drowsy recoup? are the running costs less than what they're making? Look at RENT, its been selling like that for years and its still here...

I can confirm Neddy's comments, and I'm sure there are a number of others who can, as well.
