Wow. Jersey Boys was just a few bucks shy of $1 million!! Good for them.

Sponsor me as I walk the Philadelphia AIDS Walk - Sunday, October 16, 2011. Many of our friends, family and neighbors are in desperate need of health care services and other life-saving programs, but with cutbacks in government dollars , these programs are often under-funded. Now, more than ever, your donations are needed to support organizations providing HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention education, counseling and testing and care services for people living with HIV/AIDS. http://www.aidswalkphilly.org/users/index.php/profile/detail/186643

When I went the night after the great reviews, there was a line of people asking for tickets. So things I think will start getting better in the near future.

Great show by the way.

Well overall the attendence went up didn't it? What happened with Piazza and Ring of Fire? And why does Lestat have an 82% attendence. Morbid curiosity?

every tourist i've walked by or stood next to for the past two weeks in times square:
"ooh, elton john wrote a musical! let's see that!"
"lestat! i love that book! let's see that!"
"look, that theater is RIGHT there! let's see that!"

not to mention every theater aficionado is flocking to it...

You should hear what they say at intermission and afterwards. I overheard at least a half dozen different people say "Wow I think that was the worst show I've ever seen."

Word-of-mouth is not going to be kind.

I really want to see Lestat, but I guess its morbid curiousity. I like what I see in the previews and clips and stuff, so I wonder why its so bad.

Glad Wedding Singer is off to a good start.

I thought it was truly awful -- gloomy, boring and monotonous. My review of it is on my blog.
