Aladdin is going from strength to strength as is Beautiful. Good week for a lot of shows,
Mistake on 'All The Way' grosses: 109.6% capacity, which wold mean nearly 10% of the audience would be standing in the back.
Nice jump for Matilda and Pippin but OUCH for Cinderella
I wonder how long Newsies can hold on. Those are pretty low numbers. (I know it most likely recouped already.)
Ethan, "OUCH for Cinderella"???
What are you talking about? It was up $175,000 in gross and 14% in attendance compared to the prior week. It's true that in absolute terms one might like to see even better numbers, but your "ouch" seems out of place this week. I think as the families start coming in for the summer, it will be cracking $1 million again before long.
At a gross of almost $900,000, it's making money, just not a ton of it.
I must have misread it because i just took another look and your right it did pretty well!
Ethan, you are unlike most on the board, as you are capable of admitting that you made a mistake. LOL

The All the Way number of performances and capacity percentage continues to be incorrect for the second straight week. The 6 performances number is carried over from two weeks ago because they did 8 performances this week and last week. This isn't a BroadwayWorld error, these numbers come straight from the Broadway League, which has still not yet fixed last week's error and made the same error yet again. Embarrassing how little effort is put into making sure these numbers are accurate. Don't they realize that 10% of the audience, or 136 people per show, standing in the back is impossible?
Unbelievable that Gents Guide made more than Rocky! Great for GG, but would love to see Rocky doing better.
Gents Guide should be making more money that Rocky. It is a brilliant show. I am so glad it's finally getting the attendance it deserves.
Unbelievable that Gents Guide made more than Rocky!
I don't think you know what "unbelievable" means.
I do hope you know what "massive flop" means, however.

I am still in shock Ghost is not around anymore. You know I had a better time at that show than all the other crap I saw that year?

It was a very good week for Broadway and I think we will be seeing more to come in the summer months.
