It's stupid but that's the truth. Not many people associated with it think it's a good idea, but the producers are convinced that the show might catch on.
They're crazy.

Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?

I just think it was a bad idea to bring GLORY DAYS the way it was brought in. But it's nice to see producers taking a chance, I think.
I doubt CRY-BABY will last past the summer.

The summer? Unless the reviews are out and out raves, the show may not last a week. I am not wishing anyone ill on this. But some shows just have that air of failure about them.

If it had been done off-Broadway first, they could have seen how it played for audiences at a fraction of the cost.

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
