Geez, another bad week for Come Fly Away. If this keeps up they will be announcing a closing date soon.

Awesome for Memphis! A small pick up for WSS, hopefully it will continue.

Overall a good week. Come Fly Away is not looking good. The Marquis should be vacant soon.

I think Come Fly Away will close by the new year whether or not it was doing bad.

COME FLY AWAY needs to discount ASAP, take a look at that average ticket price.

What is The Addams Family going to do once the original cast leaves? I suppose that's why they still have that high average ticket price. Saw it on Saturday night from the Mezz and it was definitely really crowded, I wonder if it's already losing it's momentum!

I really don't see how the Addams Family is losing momentum. Sure the attendance isn't 100%. but they are making a ton of money still.

Yes but isn't it the tourist-y "to see" show of the summer? No discounts, all the tickets are very high, etc. They switched to black & white playbills if anyone was wondering!

That means nothing. Addams is a venture for the soul purpose of making money, if they can make more money by going black & white they'll do it.

^ I hear you can't get that much for souls these days, so maybe they need to do something different.

I'm amazed that The Lion King ACTUALLY almost overtook Wicked this week. I don't remember when another show has come so close to Wicked's grosses.

Not even Billy came that close to Wicked last year...what IS going with Lion King, did they raise the prices THAT much?

^ I was wondering the same thing. They pretty much sell out every week so it's not like they could have sold more seats. The Gershwin has more than 200 seats than the Minskoff so Lion King had to have raised their prices big time to pull of those numbers.
