FIRST DATE must have comped and discounted a lot, but it still did better than I would have expected it to.
I'm still shocked by the crazy money Lion King still manages to pull in after all these years.

I know a family that takes their daughter to see the Lion King every single year. I'm sure that's not as unlikely of a practice as it may seem.
Woah. Is that a personal high for Book of Mormon? Wondering if they'll manage the $2M mark in due time.
Mormon (& Wicked) did 9 performances this week, hence the higher than usual grosses.

But even with Wicked having an extra performance this past week they really didn't see much higher than normal numbers, they were only up from the previous week by $93,000.
