Yes, but this is more a matter of exposing the actors and other employees. The idea of a testing pool kind of goes away when the audience is so close. But I assume the producers had convos with Equity and the other unions prior to all this about the covid of it all.

They can also require those closer have to wear masks. Given the recent rise in cases they could potentially implement that
Several shows this Fall have performances where masks are required (off Broadway). I am attending two of them and won't mind in the least.
