Posted: 8/10/09 at 10:36pmAnother great week with 11 shows grossing over a million. WOW! Also nice to se 9to5 get a nice little increase. It will be interesting to see which shows take the biggest hits after Labor Day (which, unfortunately for Broadway, is coming up fast).

39 Steps' running cost is not in the 200-300,000 range. It's much much lower than that, which is part of why it is able to run, even in lean weeks.

There is nothing worse than the kids on here guessing the running costs for a show and then saying 'i read it in Variety'. Week in and week out this happens.
You don't know the running costs, rarely do the producers let it be known how much the running cost is.
