Posted: 10/7/18 at 10:08pmSo I live on Long Island, which is a one hour train ride from NYC. I was wondering, do you think I could still do rush? I mean it’s a hr train ride and it would probably be really early but I still want to do it, since broadway is so expensive. What do you guys think? Edvice would help so much!

I think it's totally possible depending on the show. It does help though if you have a friend who lives in the city and if you both plan to rush the same day, have him/her get an early spot and you can then swap when you get there.

Posted: 10/7/18 at 11:14pmI rushed all the time when I lived in CT, which was over two hours away between driving and train. It's all about how early you want to get up to get there for rush. If you get there early enough it's definitely doable.

Posted: 10/8/18 at 5:46amIts about how you value your time regardless of where you live. How will you feel if you don't score tickets? What will you do with your day in between rush and show time?

you can do the TODAYTIX rush on your phone at 10 AM without leaving your bed.
I live in Brooklyn, and I prefer this kind of rush than heading into the city lol

Posted: 10/8/18 at 4:38pmIt also depends on what show you're trying to rush for. Some shows you don't actually have to show up that early because the demand isn't there. Also, some box offices don't open until noon on Sundays.
