Which Broadway Stars would you like to see step into the roles of the original stars once they leave!

*Patti LuPone in for Bernie
*Stephanie Block for Idina as Elphie
*Alice Ripley as Elphie (That would rock)
*Sharon Brown as Aida

may sound stupid but I would love to see Linda Eder do Elphie and I would love to see a revival of Jekyll and Hyde with Christian Bale...(though was great in Newsies..)

I agree with Corine on Brent Barret as Julian Marsh.
Adam Pascal as Fiyero
Sutton Foster as Elphaba
Jai Rodriguez as Angel in Rent again
Patrick Wilson for Hugh Jackman in BFO
One of the three urchins from LSOH as Aida (I don't know their names offhand, but I think they definitely have the voices for it.)

Sherie Renee Scott as Elphaba- I just think it would be interesting to see just because Ms. Menzel and Ms. Scott seem to play each other's roles quite frequently- Menzel playing the role of Amneris in Aida that Scott originated and Scott playing the role of Maureen in Rent that Menzel originated
Alice Ripley or Felecia Finly as Audrey in LSOH
Margaret Chow as Christmas Eve in Avenue Q

Elphie, I agree with you about Idina and Sherie Rene. I loved Sherie as Amneris, but I really wish I could've seen Idina. Sherie probably would be good as Elphaba.

StateofJade, are the two of them still in the show, but not playing Mimi and Roger? I remember hearing that somewhere. I saw them both. I loved Karmine, but wasn't much of a fan of Sebastian. But then again I was spoiled by Manley Pope. I loved him.

They are both swings right now. I think what shes saying is she would like them to be moved back up.

Raul or Adam Pascal as Fiyero

If Urinetown was still running then I think Kerry Butler would be a good Hope.

I was thinking Amy Spanger taking over for Kristin. I don't know. That might be a stupid idea. I was just randomly thinking yesterday.

I don't know what role but I really want to see Jordan Ballard or Sandra Denise come to Broadway because they were great in Hairspray.

This answer is for two reasons, one to amuse Craig and two, because I mean it, Orfeh as both Amneris and Elphaba. I'm actually shocked that she hasn't played Amneris yet. Seems like a no-brainer.

Yes, Iluvemcee, both Karmine and Sebastian are still in the show, but as understudies. Personally, I thought Manley was too boy-bandish...Sebastian just has the passion and much to certain people's dismay, I do enjoy his voice. And Karmine's just an amazing performer.
