Sweeney doesn't fit the clues. It's not from the past 10 years, it has had 2 revivals, and I'm sorry...but I still think your drama teacher is a dick. I always thought it would be fantastic if the students realized how dickish their drama teacher is and NO-ONE shows up for the auditions. We actually did that in college as well, because the choice of show was just that bad.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast: the Broadway Musical: school edition (or student edition)
10 words! :)
-Andi :)
(EDIT -- Wait, does it have to have *opened* in the last 10 years, or just played on Broadway at some point during the last 10 years? If it's the latter, this is my guess. Otherwise, I guess not, since BaTB opened in...I think it was 1997 if I recall correctly.)

Well, I think its sweeney todd because there was technically no revival of a sweeney todd SCHOOL EDITION. They like to trick us with those kinds of things.

hi everyone. i'm go to school with the loganatorr22 and i think i recieved a few more clues that may or may not be acurate or helpful but i thought i'd bring them up.
-A quote was given to me "you're doing fine kid" the 'kid' could be changed to another word like boy or pal.
one of the two shows we are doing is over 10 years old and the other one is under 10 years old. the one that is over 10 years old is locked in and so far the clues for that i've recieved are as follows.
-harmonies important
-big dance show
-no children
i would think the music man but that has children. your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Posted: 2/26/09 at 2:41amOklahoma! came right to mind since "You're doing fine, Oklahoma" is a lyric in the title song. It has some lovely vocal arrangements, lots of dancing and no kids.

Except for the "no children" part, how do these things apply to Sweeney Todd?

re: Broadway Trivia#37
Posted: 3/19/09 at 11:12amI think all three of those hings were for DRS because there is 1 child in ST: Tobias
re: Broadway Trivia#39
Posted: 3/19/09 at 5:37pmTobias is played by an adult, but the character can be a child or a mentally challenged adult, depending on direction. I believe he was originally intended to be a child, although I'm not positive about that.
