I saw a local production that listed an actor's credits in the playbill, and proudly declared that he had been in "SUNDAY IN THE PORK WITH GEORGE".

It does make for lots of fun little "in" jokes.

I was just looking up the history of the Schoenfeld on the Shubert's page and noticed that the 1960's production of Irma was a bit racier than I thought.

Someone on All That Chat just posted this doozie of a typo from the Shubert Organization's website...


edit---well they fixed the typo after I posted. It used to say "Irma La Douche". Someone with Telecharge thanked the original poster on ATC and said that it had been like that for 4 years but nobody ever caught it.

Good drag name though.
