Many years ago, I remember that the A-B-C Directory of Broadway Plays had a typo in its listing of BAREFOOT IN THE PARK. It showed up as BAREFOOT IN THE DARK, which isn't a bad title for another play.
I was wondering how many titles could be changed by one or two typographical errors?
For starters:
ARSENIC AND OLD LICE
JERSEY GOYS
LEGALLY BLIND
SALE OF TWO TITTIES
THE OLD COUPLE
LIFE WITH FEATHER
THE POUND OF MUSIC
Okay, now what can you come up with?
"Long live God!" (GODSPELL)
