re: Broadway actors who you wish had solo albums

I've seen Rachel York's name posted a few times here. She has a solo album called "Let's Fall in Love". When I got it, it was released solely through Barnes and Noble for some reason. I think you can get it elsewhere now. I hope she does another one really soon. Her voice is just gorgeous.

Ma-Anne Dionisio, she is supposed to have an album coming out, though it must have been put on the backburner or something. I would not mind some orginal songs, but I would like some songs from the shows she has been in, like "Miss Saigon" and "Les Miserables."

I know she's not considered Broadway, but I love Meryl Streep's voice...I wish she'd record!

RAUL JULIA- one of the greatest male performes of all time. I love listening to him in "Nine" and "Threepenny Opera," but I wish he had his own album.

Orfeh NEEDS to do an updated one. I can't live off of Or-N-More and the 90s saxophone stuff.

I agree with you AlmostX. I've been wishing for a new Orfeh album for a long time (I'm slightly satiated with the TP recording), but before you knock the "saxaphone", find me one pop album from then OR now that utilizes as many live musicians as the Or-N-More album did. WAY before it's time.

That album (Or-N-More) has some of the greatest musicians ever, on it. Those are the same guys who played on THRILLER and Off The Wall. "Things That You Owe Me" and it's horns knock my socks off.

I forgot Aaron Lazar (who is one of the most amazing tenors ever) and Carolee Carmello.

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?

My wish list includes Michael Arden, Jesse L. Martin, Adam Pascal (except doesn't he have at least one out already?), and Aaron Lohr (hey, it almost happened once!).

Adam has two already released.

I've never really given it too much thought, but a Jesse L. Martin solo album sounds amazing. I don't know if he's ever tried his hand at songwriting, but even a cover album sounds great.

Norbert Leo Butz and Amy Spanger.
I made a list of all your faults, it was quite detailed and lengthy too and when I read it through I missed you. Your like a classic Eagles song, you just cant help but sing along even though it sometimes gets annoying too. I just know I want to be wherever I can wake and see you there next to me. **High Fidelity** Love is what I do **The Wedding Singer** Xanadu - Best NEW Musical of the Season!
