Bobby Steggert and Anika Noni Rose, Dallas Roberts were all on tonight's episode. Not to mention most of the regulars in the cast have been on the Broadway stage at one point or another.

I was about to start a thread about this. Mandy Gonzalez and Karen Olivo were on as well. I think it is kind of like a new Law and order.

Curious, are Julianna Margulies and Donald Margulies related in any way?

Dylan Baker has also been invited to reprise his nasty guy role from last season. The show films in Brooklyn so they are able to tap into the rich New York-based talent pool.

There was an article in the NY Times last year about this where they did refer to it as "the new Law and Order." Because the show films in NY, they use a lot of stage actors.

Montego Glover was also (briefly) on the season premiere. And of course, on the regular cast, Christine Baranski, Mary Beith Peil, and Graham Philiips all have extensive stage credits.

It's a shame the ratings of this great show don't live up to the quality. It really is the only thing I can look forward to recently where I know I will see great actors and a great story.
Its ratings as in people watching are very high, its demo is the problem, its obviously attracting a much older audience
Eric Nelson, who was in 13 had a small role last week.

James Carpinello (former Stacee Jaxx in RoA) was recurring last season I believe, and his wife Amy Acker is on the show as well.

Just another thing I love about this show: spotting the Broadway actors!

I know it's already been mentioned that most of the regular cast has been on a Broadway stage at some point or another, but don't forget that Scott Porter, who has a recurring role this season got his start in Altar Boyz!

Also, both Joanna Gleason and her husband, Chris Sarandon, have been on the show as judges.

I don't believe Julianna Margulies is any relation to Donald. Her father worked in advertising.

Just thought everyone should know Norbert Leo Butz was on Last night
^Chad Kimball too.
		     			Butz was excellent last night.

The show really is leaps and bounds above anything on network TV right now. Last night's episode was excellent.

Can't wait, i have the Butz Episode tivoed. Don't forget Denis O'Hare was a judge and Martha Plimpton had a hilarious role. It really is such a layered smartly written drama. It finds the perfect balance between family drama, legal drama, and political drama.
		     			LOVE this show!

Julianna's dad is responsible for writing the little "plop, plop, fizz, fizz' jingle.

Rene Elise Goldsberry was also on last nights show as the assistant from the DA's office. Gotta say I love this show and that fact that I can see some Broadway actors on television and scream with glee because I know who these people are as apposed to everyone else in my house looking at me like I am crazy.

He played the Jury Whisperer who was in the end a fake because his theory of watching and judging the juries expression was totally wrong.

Last night, Alexander Gemignani played an IRS agent investigating Kalinda.

p.s. Neither of them sang.
