re: Broadway for Halloween

I went as Annie when I was eight. That's the only Broadway related costume I've worn.

Not sure if it EXACTLY counts as Broadway, but last Halloween, while "Lennon" was still running, me and my friend went as John & Yoko...

re: Broadway for Halloween

Me and my friend were planning on going as Leo and Max from The Producers but it never worked out. Maybe this year...

I was actually considering before being Sweeney Todd(Michael Cerveris's version), either Tommy Devito at the end of Jersey Boys(I found that shirt he wears at the end and I wore it for my graduation) or maybe Frankie Valli at the beginning of Jersey Boys, but I think I'll settle on Sweeney Todd(maybe I'll convince a friend to go as Mrs.Lovett)

Tommy Devito:"That's cause you're paying us s***."

re: Broadway for Halloween

My junior year I went as The Phantom for Halloween. It was fun and everyone really liked it, but putting on all that makeup was NOT PLEASANT...I lost half of an eyebrow trying to take it off!

This year I had planned on going as "Where's Waldo", but if that doesn't work out, I'm dressing up as Leaf Coneybear from Spelling Bee re: Broadway for Halloween

re: Broadway for Halloween

I was Phantom last halloween.

Not sure what I will do this year.
...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

re: Broadway for Halloween

I was the Phantom of the Opera in first grade.

It was embarrassing.

I loved it.

I was Little Red from Into the Woods a few years ago.

This year I'm going as Mimi from Rent. I have the whole costume except for the boots and the shirt and the hair re: Broadway for Halloween

re: Broadway for Halloween

When I was nine and went through an intense Annie Oakley phase, I went as her for Halloween and my mom made my costume, basing it off of Bernadette Peters's turquoise one in the 1999 revival. When I was seven I was Juliet. When I was 12 I went as a dancer from Fosse. When I was 14 I went as Puck from Midsummer Night's Dream. This year I'm planning on going as Johanna from Sweeney Todd. I've got a dress I've been eyeing at a local vintage clothing store.
