I don't remember Spring Awakening or Curtains being up there before, and they rearranged around some shows.

Posted: 6/6/07 at 8:27pmSo COMPANY is scheduled for August 9th? Hmmm, I'm doubtful it will last that long, they probably should have had that one go sooner.

that's exactly what I was thinking about Company. Do shows that close still perform? And how do they decide which shows perform at this thing
What's the actor's fund celebration at the end?

How many numbers does each show typically do?
Looks like they've also changed the schedule a bit than from what's posted on this thread...

Posted: 6/19/07 at 7:47pmI pray to the RENT gods that they do something OTHER than Seasons of Love. That song is SO freakin' played out. It's not that hard to just sing another song.

They do 3 or 4 songs per show, and they're generally the 2-3 person numbers.
The performers are generally the understudies, though every now and then the leads show up.
The cast of Wicked always uses the understudies (so look for Lisa Bresica and Allie Mauzey to be there rather than Julia and Kendra). Shows like Rent, Spelling Bee, Xanadu, etc., will surely have their leads perform, since they're not really, well, notable.
You can almost bet that Christine Ebersole won't be performing with Grey Gardens, but you can bet that Annaliesse vander Pole will be there with Beauty and the Beast.
They always get a few "celebrities" with their shows.

Posted: 6/19/07 at 8:39pmThanks Yankeefan, that was very helpful. I'll only be in town for the first one on July 12th, my first time going. So it'll probably be a treat with whomever shows up.

What time do people usually arrive? Also, for Grey Gardens I have a feeling it might be an Erin Davie and Matt C. performance of "Going Places" or something to that extent.
