This event is coming up soon on 9/10. I may go for the first time this year. Can anyone recommend how early to go to get a good spot, and where would be a good place to stand?

Yeah, I got there around 10 last year too, and got a decent spot, but I think I'd like to get there VERY early this year to get a spot in the front.

I've never been but would love to go. Sounds like fun. How long does it last? Is it like an all day event?

That's all I'm gonna say. -Look at your posture. That's no way to be popular! -Bed made, room straightened. We've done that. -Colors blended. Everyone stands, so if you bring a chair, you'll be seeing backs.

I wonder if it will be on TV this year. Last year in was listed and wasn't on.

On the website {BroadwayOnBroadway.com}, it doesnt say if it will be broadcast on TV.

I love Broadway on Broadway, this will be my third year going. Last year was amazing. I wish ASU was still open so they could preform. re: Broadway on Broadway

they had Angie Schworer do "If You Got It, Flaunt It" last year, no? i was there, and I don't remember them doing IWBAP.

I totally forgot it was this weekend,a nd I don't know if I can go now. They better actually air it this year.

It's next weekend, actually. And they're not airing it on TV.

My predictions as to song choices:
Avenue Q: More You Ruv Someone
Color Purple: I'm Here
Drowsy Chaperone: Toledo Surprise
Hairspray: Run and Tell That
Jersey Boys: Can't Take My Eyes Off You
Mamma Mia: SOS or Dancing Queen
Producers: I Wanna Be A Producer
Rent: Seasons of Love
Tarzan: For The First Time
Spelling Bee: I Love You Song
Wedding Singer: Caught By Surprise (or whatever they want to call it)
Wicked: For Good

Les Miserables: Master of the House
Grey Gardens: Revolutionary Costume
Times: Blowin in the Wind
Spring Awakening: wanted to do the F**k song, or whatever it's called. They're not allowed, though.

for some reason, i think DROWSY might do "Show Off" or "As We Stumble Along"
they always use "Show Off" for press stuff it seems(maybe they wont because they cant do the costume changes), but maybe they will decided on another one, like possibly "Toledo Suprise"

and COLOR PURPLE might do "Push Da Button"
i know they did "What About Love?" last year

Right on Time is the song you are reffering to.

Even if it's not televised this year, there will probably be someone at Broadway on Broadway videotaping it and posting it online.

Yankeefan, there's only one really problem with your list of predictions and that the Jersey Boys one. They can do Can't Take My Eyes Off You, but as apart of medley not by itself cause I think it was the Jersey Boys blog that said that John, Christian, Bobby, and Matthew Scott would be performing at Broadway on Broadway.

I doubt TWS will do Right in front of your eyes cause only Amy would be singing then. She did it at Broadway in Bryant Park and Matthew didn't even do his line. It wouldn't be the best choice at a event like this
