Broadway prices this fall

I called the box office and I was trying to find a good ticket for Harry Potter this fall, but with the announcement of that new cast member from the original movies the best way I could find is for the dates that I wanna go in lower Orchestra $287

what is everyone’s thoughts on that price? It seems very high

also I was inquiring about tickets for Kristen today. I cannot find anything in the orchestra that is less than $280

For that show specifically, unless they've pulled off a miracle as large as the real Jackie finishing the house, prices will come down quick after it starts performances.

And also, almost no one is purchasing more than a month out now, so there's plenty of time. The only reason to purchase in advance is if you're not going to be near the box office to purchase later. From my experience those fees are often as much as the standard discounts, or close enough for me.

The challenging part is that Felton's run coincides with one of the most lucrative time periods of the year (something that is probably deliberate on the part of the producers). If you were visiting New York in January, it might be a different story."

Rather surprisingly, Felton is moving a TON of tickets. By today's standard of generally weak advance sales, it's kind of eye-popping. I don't see discounts for Cursed Child happening this fall. Maybe none at all during his run.

That said, OP - there will definitely be discounts for Queen of Versailles, especially prior to opening, probably about a month out. Just hold out for a bit.

It's high, but considering Hamilton is sold out for Leslie Odom Jr's run this fall, and the last remaining tickets were going for over $900 last week, it could be worse.
