"Tara in Pensacola, Florida: I so love Ugly Betty. Can you give me any scoop?
The finale is called "East Side Story," and the storylines will be tied together by a beloved Broadway musical. Yee! Who knew that song "America" referred to the divine Ms. Ferrera?"

Eeeee so excited! This should be good. I'm glad the show loves Broadway so much:)

Betty gets mugged. Her glasses fall off, her fake teeth get knocked out, and everyone realizes she is pretty. The point of the show ends. Betty is shot.

I know it's a joke, or at least I hope it's a joke, but still......was that really necessary? There are a lot of people posting on here that are fans of the show. Like me. If you don't like it, then don't post. It's that simple.

Okay...so the season finale' airs this coming Thursday May 17, 2007. As stated, it's titled "East Side Story".

Kristin Chenoweth plays Diane, and Gina Gershon once again returns as Fabia.

A little tidbit -- Ana Ortiz, who plays Betty's older sister Hilda, co-starred with Kristin Chenoweth back in 2001 on Kristin's short-lived NBC sitcom KRISTIN.

Also, I believe Kristin's character is a dentist assistant (it's not a singing role), and Anjelica Vale', who plays 'Betty' in the current Mexican version of UGLY BETTY titled LA FEA MAS BELLA, makes an appearance (in her Mexican 'Betty' get-up).

Yes, Betty's hair is a wig.

And anyone who honestly thinks the point of the show is solely that Betty is an ugly fish out of water obviously hasn't seen more than an episode or two. It's a hilarious melodrama with outlandish situations but characters who are wonderful portrayed by an excellent cast. Never thought I'd enjoy 'Ugly Betty', but I absolutely love it. :3
