Coming March 29th from Rhino Records: Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms! Finally a comilation CD of the greatest performers to have graced the title role of the Phantom of the Opera at the famed Majestic Theater on Broadway is now available! (I'm quoting-- exclamation points are not mine!"

Posted: 2/21/05 at 4:12pmNo, they weren't very good. I don't think people really got it, which is pretty typical with Sondheim. It usually takes people a while to get into his stuff.

I played the sound clips and liked most of them. --Didn't care much for Kevn Gray's "My Time To Shine." What is that from?
Odd choice for the Michael Crawford selection. "Charley" is from an early show of his that ran, I think, only a few weeks.
