re: Broadway's new Ariel?

I have seen both Sierra and Chelsea go on as Ariel.

There are merits to both performers and performances, but if we're doing a comparison I MUCH prefer Chelsea to Sierra. In my personal opinion she looks more believable as a 16 year old, and I prefer her voice to Sierra's (particularly the end of Part of Your World Reprise and Wildest Dreams, Sierra head-voices the end of both (which could be something she was directed to do) and Chelsea belts the end of both).

re: Broadway's new Ariel?

I have seen Sierra and Chelsea and, like doubleentendre, thought Chelsea was MUCH better. Her acting was more believable and her voice is a lot nicer. Sierra's belting is pretty unpleasant to listen to (it's very harsh), but Chelsea's sounds a lot more natural and clear.
