Broadway star sightings!

Where have you seen Broadway stars when they are not on the stage (or just outside of the theater)?

Mario Cantone yesterday at 7th and 48th chilling with a friend.
Christopher Fitzgerald this summer shopping at Columbus and 72nd.
Kristin Chenoweth last spring at Josie's on Amsterdam and 74th.
Harvey Fierstein walking through the theater district on mulitple occasions.
Bernadette Peters eating tasti-d-light on 72nd Street.

well this was looong before Brooke was in "wonderful town," but I sat behind her at an Andre Agassi game back when they were dating. but this was years ago!

well Harvey Fierstein lives in the town next to mine, so Ive seen him walking in the streets as his character when he was trainging for his character in HAirspray- hes really nice!

bumped into stephen henderson walking to the belasco, stood behind melissa errico on line at a drug store, sat next to AL PACINO on a park bench

Chita Rivera, Alec Baldwin, Carla Gugino (and others from the cast of After the Fall) all at different occasions at Joan Allen's.
Carol Bernette (sp?) times square, she was on her way to see the same play that I was going to.
John Tartaglia (sp?) times square - on his way the his theater i guess.
Julie White from Fiction at the premiere of Christmas with the Kranks - random!
Ben Chaplin - walking around the theater district
John Lithgow - Central Park
Kate Baldwin - After the Passion Benefit Concert - she wasn't in it she had just seen it, as I had.
there are more I just can't think of them all right now

I saw Joe Mantello on the 1/9 the day after Wicked opened, and he was sitting across from someone reading the Times review...he was looking none too happy! I swear, I thought his eyes were going to bulge out of his head!

i've seen Michael Arden alot lately around ny. The other day i saw Adam Fleming and Aaron Lohr. i also see John Tags alot around ny. I saw Gregg Elemen(sp) from Wonderful Town and his wife whos in Mamma Mia at shoprite once.

ive run into daphne rubin-vega multiple times.. in colony, in starbucks.. one time she even gave my friend and i tickets to "between us" because she was on her way to the show and wanted us to go too lol
i also met wilson jermaine heredia, sebastian lacause, anthony rapp, and a couple others at the cutting room one night.

No, I didn't talk to her when I saw her on the street, I don't like bothering people when they are on their off-time. I spoke with her last November when I stood at the stage door for Gypsy- it was freezing cold that night, and only 4 of us stayed to talk to her and take pictures, so she chatted for a couple minutes then.

I saw Ann Harada in August telling someone that she was pregnant, but it was before it was ever talked about on the board so I don't know if it was out in the open yet. The same day I saw Adam Pascal walking to the theater. I also saw Barrett Foa in Times Square and Matt Caplan on 8th Ave after a show. I also saw Nancy Anderson(ex-Helen in Wonderful Town) at a Duene Reade on the upper west side a few months ago. Oh, and I saw Audra McDonald walking to Raisin, and Rebecca Luker walking around Lincoln Center, as well as Stephen Schwartz. I think that us all.

Neil Patrick Harris at a performance of Brooklyn, John Tartaglia telling some kind of crazy story on the street, Christopher Sieber after bway on bway 2002 (giving us a REALLY strange look because we were dancing in front of the theater for into the woods).

Last night I saw The star of the Wonder Years at Cardinal A Sin Deposed. He lost weight and looks years younger. He also smiled at me.
He reminds me of my father. They look so much alike. It is eerie.
He played the father on the Wonder Years.

-i, too, saw John Tartaglia telling someone some random a$$ story in the middle of the street
-I'm constantly running into cast members from Avenue Q and Phantom because I'm working on an off-off broadway show at a little theatre on 44th and I have to walk to the corner of 44th and 8th to hit up the subway.
-I ran into Stephen Sondheim on W.60th last novemberish
-Ran into Douglas Sills while crossing Broadway at 43rd to get rush tickets for Urinetown.
-Mario Cantone on the street one night right after Assassins had let out.
