Hmm.... But there are lots of suspect singers on Broadway. And lots of people who can't act. Just because you can play a certain role or do a certain track on Broadway doesn't make you an accomplished actor.
Why don't the AI people have "the package"? They have to be able to learn new songs every week and put them up onstage in front of millions of viewers. Lots of Broadway performers couldn't do that very well. Some have, in fact, tried and failed to get very far on AI.

Now, you're getting somewhere. "We don't know" is quite valid. But why do you assume the worse of people when you "don't know"? Who is to say that Fantasia isn't a TERRIFIC actress? I think her work on AI reflects that of someone who would make a terrific actress.
