Im making a cd. What are some awsome duets. I have:
-All the wasted time (parade)
-As long as your mine (Wicked)
-take me as i am (I think we all know)
-That worlds apart song in big river
-I know him so well (You guys know these musicals. What am i saying?)
-Confrontation
-It takes two
-unworthy of your love
-phantom of the opera
-Lily's eyes
-In his eyes
-The sweeney todd one where they make puns about the kinds of human pies
-16 going on 17 (ha ha ha. Just kidding. Over my dead body)

You guys know much more than i do. What am i leaving out here? Does anybody disagree with the list so far?

Its Aberqurque NM for me. Speaking Spanish. Be Back September 06.

One Hand, One Heart - West Side Story

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

In the "slightly weird but amusing" category-

"You Must Meet My Wife" - A Little Night Music
"Barcelona" - Company
"Everyone Hates His Parents" - Falsettoland
"If Momma Was Married" - Gypsy
Both "Agonies" and "Moments in the Woods" from Into the Woods
"The Doctor is In" - You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

In the "not to everyone's taste" category- "Poems" from Pacific Overtures. And "Color and Light" and "We Do Not Belong Together" from Sunday in the Park With George.

Most of these aren't stunners or terribly romantic (except the Sunday ones), but I like 'em.

Edit: Okay, I have to add in Anthony and Johanna's sublimely ridiculous "Kiss Me" from Sweeney Todd. They're silly people, but they sing so beautifully. (When they're played by Victor Garber and Sarah Rice, at least) Updated On: 5/20/04 at 12:18 PM

Also:
A Boy Like That/I Have a Love- West Side Story
Take Me As I Am- J/H (Yes, it's cheesy, but I like singing it!)
Tonight- West Side Story
I'd Give it All For You- SFANW
Too Much In Love To Care- Sunset (Also cheesy, but fun to sing)

I don't know if you wannt to count this as a duet, but "Another Day" from RENT is really good.
"Could We Start Again" from JCS is also really good.

I personally liked "A Heartful of Love" (Les Miserables), and I second whoever nominated "Light My Candle" (RENT) and "What Is This Feeling?" (Wicked).
